<p> On the island of Oahu, we stayed in a beautiful house courtesy of Hilary & Zadoc Brown. This spectacular panorama shows the "crater" of Haleakala. Actually, it's not properly a crater, formed as it was by erosion. The barren soil is the result of lava flow. </p>
